Hi! We’re Palmetto Walk Bike.
We’re a statewide nonprofit working to make walking and biking safer and more accessible across South Carolina. We used to be called the Palmetto Cycling Coalition.
Since 1995, we’ve helped communities build better streets, improve transportation policies, and connect people to the places they need to go.
Whether you live in a small town or a big city, you deserve a safe way to get where you’re going.

We advocate for safe, connected options to walk, roll, and bike.
Our goal is a South Carolina where everyone can move safely, no matter how they get around.

From local wins to statewide policy.
We support trail expansions, safer street redesigns, and laws that protect everyone on the move, whether you’re walking to the store or biking to work.

Be a part of the movement!
