Columbia, SC – A full road diet and South Carolina’s first sidewalk-level protected bike lane (cycle track) are just weeks away from being completed on South Main Street, right in front of the South Carolina State House! This is a huge step toward safer, more walkable streets in downtown Columbia and a model for future projects across the state. Check out the before-and-after images below.
