Gov McMaster has signed S812 into law. SC becomes the first East Coast state to fully pass Stop As Yield/Idaho Stop legislation!

Honestly, “The Palmetto Stop” has a pretty nice ring to it.

Bicycle Safety Stop legislation passed 47-2, an overwhelmingly bipartisan show of support in the SC Senate! The bill made sure to slow to a safe speed, yield, and proceed when safe to do so 🙂
